WebOct 1, 2024 · The byelaws have been in place since 1989; 32 years ago. In that time there have been legal, practical, technological and societal developments. The consultation runs for six weeks, closing on 1st November. After that, the Authority will meet again to consider responses and agree appropriate changes. WebAnyone who has visited Dartmoor knows it’s a place with wild character, spectacular landscapes, sometimes savage weather and long history that sets it apart from other parts of the UK. A public consultation is currently in progress around proposed changes to Dartmoor’s Byelaws which aim to protect the special qualities of the National Park.
